Data collected and purposes
Contact form. When you write to us, we collect your name, your email address and, if you provide them, your company or organisation, your phone number and the content of your message. This data is used only to answer your request and, where relevant, to discuss a possible engagement with you. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, or on pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
Spam protection. Messages sent through the form are checked by the Akismet service to filter out abusive submissions.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
Recipients and processors
Your data is intended solely for Kaqi. To run the website, we use the following providers, acting as processors:
- OVH SAS (France), for website hosting;
- Automattic Inc., publisher of Jetpack and Akismet, for delivering contact form messages and filtering spam. These services may involve transferring data to the United States, covered by appropriate safeguards within the meaning of the GDPR.
Retention period
Data from the contact form is kept for three years from our last exchange and then deleted, unless a contractual relationship has been entered into in the meantime.
Cookies and embedded content
This website does not use advertising cookies. Some pages include videos hosted by Vimeo: playing these videos may cause Vimeo to set cookies, under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may also set instructions regarding what happens to your data after your death. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@kaqi.fr or at the postal address above.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
